About the job

We are looking for a Copywriter to join the Bestow Marketing team! Specifically, a writer’s writer. A curious storyteller. Both conceptual and tactical. A thinker who sweats the small stuff. A person who finds themselves shouting at the TV news or a bus bench ad, “C’mon, words actually mean things.”

This role reports directly to the Creative Director and encompasses all aspects of Bestow marketing from concepting new digital campaigns to innovating on growth marketing initiatives. If you’re looking to bring your voice and talent to a mission-driven company in ways that help it grow and expand its reach, then this might be the role for you!


  • Brand-level thinker, campaign developer across all media
  • Help change the perception of a centuries-old insurance industry
  • Work with a partner to develop and produce online/broadcast spots, digital/print ads, social content, direct mail
  • Concept and create innovative marketing and sales collateral
  • Maintain and evolve the voice of the brand
  • Initiate creative ways to grow Bestow


  • 2-4 years experience, writing for an agency or brand
  • Current portfolio required
  • Passionate creative – you want to move needles, set trends, and affect culture with impactful words, ideas, and ads
  • Holistic thinker – 360 developer and guardian of a brand’s voice
  • Versatile writer – able and willing to write scripts, headlines, direct mail copy, and everything in between
  • Self-motivated – you take initiative, dot your own i’s, cross your own t’s
  • Up to date on current ad trends, effective campaigns, pop culture, and societal events
  • You love working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that involves constant cross-team interaction and communication
  • Digital advertising experience a plus; broadcast experience a plus
